(No Chemicals in growing or decaffeination processing) The producers in Santo Domingo are serious about picking only the ripest cherries for this Decaf coffee. The cherry is pulped immediately after picking and the parchment is fermented for approximately 12 hours and then washed and sun dried. The coffee is decaffeinated by Swiss water processing using clean, pure water along with pressure and carbon. This processing method is completely chemical free that makes it stand out from almost all other chemical based decaffeinating methods. The Roasting Shack will not carry any Decaf that uses potentially toxic compounds. We will only use truly natural decaffeination methods.Details
